RIAA Certified Platinum Sales Award presented to Edward Germano to commemorate the sale of more than 1,000,000 copies of Billy Ocean’s Love Zone album and cassette under Arista Records. The framed display, measuring approximately 17" x 21", includes a platinum record, cassette, album artwork, and an RIAA hologram certification plaque. In fine condition. Released in 1986, Love Zone featured the #1 hit There’ll Be Sad Songs (To Make You Cry) and solidified Billy Ocean’s status as a leading R&B and pop artist of the 1980s. From the Danielle Germano Collection and accompanied by her letter of provenance.
