Extensive archive of original studio documents from The Hit Factory related to John Mellencamp’s 1996 recording sessions. This collection includes original invoices, checks, session logs, hospitality receipts, and payment records from the production of Mr. Happy Go Lucky. Among the collection is a check for $30,251.53 issued for studio charges tied to mixing sessions, as well as food and courier slips, handwritten notes, and billing breakdowns from January and February of 1996. These materials provide a detailed look at the studio operations and expenses surrounding a major commercial release from an iconic American rock artist. All documents are original and in fine condition overall, with expected signs of age and handling. From the Danielle Germano Collection and accompanied by her letter of provenance.
